Walt stressed how important it is for the division coordinators to call the scores in to him on time on Saturday and Sunday evenings.

Wendell stated that the R & D meeting dates will be posted on line.

President's Report

Kathie stated that the field directions will be posted on line only this season. Virginia is looking into purchasing 250 acres of land in Lorton. The meetings are the second Monday of every month at the Sheraton Premier for anyone who would like to attend.

A few weeks ago, Kathie received a phone call from a U-12 team who had been dropped from the League after the Fall Season. They were disbanding and had money left in the account and wanted to donate it to a soccer related program.

On February 28th, Jack Beattie, VIST Club Rep, passed away. Kathie was able to visit with him the week after the workshop and presented him with the award and card. Kathie introduced the new Club Rep for VIST, Bev Alexander.

Kathie reminded that the home teams must call 72 hours prior to game to review directions and uniform jerseys. Cancellations due to High School Soccer conflicts must call Kathie as well as their opponent.

Please check your emails frequently, especially on Thursday and Friday for any information regarding referees or game changes.

When calling in your scores to the division coordinators, please notify them also of any games that did not have a referee and played with a volunteer referee. Division coordinators, please pass that information on to the age group coordinators

On each of the chairs there was a large envelope with information regarding DC United. Please note the flyers concerning the Soccerplex Day at RFK.

Guest Speaker

Tony Anthony spoke regarding Northern Virginia Fields Consortium.

Celeste Szewcyk spoke regarding an accident involving two NCSL players. They were on their way to a soccer tournament. Celeste stated that all cards could be sent to her address and she would send them on to the boys.

Administrator's Report

Robin reviewed the contents of the manual

1. Make sure to fill out the Referee Game Report Cards properly
2. If anyone needs extra forms or cards please notify me and I will mail them to you

Reviewed schedule changes. These changes were due to field permits changes, such as time, fields being pulled from us. Others were due to MD State Cup knock-out round games on April 8th. Told all Club Reps to review their schedules on line prior to handing them out to their parents. The schedule on line is the most updated.

Registrars

Laura Dull will not be available for any roster changes, therefore, Cathy Kasper and Anne Powell will be splitting the teams.
