WAGS Head Registrar – Lisa informed the membership that she had extra player passes for teams that need them.  She also stated that more Registrars are needed in the VA area.  There are 240 teams and not enough Registrars.

Kathie congratulated Lula on her appointment to the VYSA Adjudication Committee and for receiving VYSA Coach of the Year and the Region I Girls Coach of the Year.

R&D Director – Lula stated that WAGS only had three (3) hearings last season.

VP Virginia -   Walt congratulated Kathie as VYSA Volunteer of the Year. He stated that the PCA Courses were well attended.  DC United gave away door prizes at all sessions and a Grand Prize of a 90 minutes training session with DC United at the PCA Parent Session.  “D” Coaching Courses will be available through VYSA and VA Rush on February 10-12 and 17-19. Contact the VYSA Office for more information.

VA MarylandBill contacted CASRA regarding the referee shortage in specific areas and discussed ways to obtain better coverage.

Treasurer Final numbers for the tournament are not in yet.  Hope to have them by next meeting.

WAGS Administrator:  Robin stated that if anyone is sending any type of form, the signature must be waived.  Demosphere is having problems with their email system.  They are not able to send emails to anyone with a COMCAST.NET account.  They are working to resolve this issue.  All TSL forms MUST be submitted with the fees forms and checks.

President’s Report –Kathie reviewed important calendar dates.  She also stated that there will be an increase of referee fees this season, however, the league will pay for this increase because teams did not receive full coverage.  The fees will be raised substantially beginning in the fall 2006 season.  This pertains to all age groups except for the U-15D1 age group.  They will be paying the increase because they will pay cash on the field for the spring season.

Secretary – Pat thanked the New Club Committee for a great job.  He stated that Fredericksburg Area SA (FASA) has been approved by the committee and submitted for approval by the membership.  Pat also stated that Reston FC did not meet the criteria set forth by WAGS, therefore will not be submitted for approval by the membership.  The membership voted to accept FASA into WAGS.
