Kathie also gave contact information regarding scrimmages with teams from out of state while they were here for the Women's World Cup games.
Walt Lenar thanked everyone for a good season. Asked everyone to please call their scores in on time next season so that we can get them on the web page in a timely matter.
D.C. United game on June 5th went well. Looking for ball girls for the next WAGS night.
Bob Dieterle reviewed the WAGS Financial Statement with the Membership as of March 31, 1999. The financial statement included both the League and Tournament liabilities and assets.
R & D Director:
Wendell Domon, reviewed the number of cards issued this season. He also stated that he had complaints from referees regarding parent/referee altercations. Wendell asked the Membership to have all of their teams submit the WAGS Referee Evaluation Form in for every game. Robin will put enough white forms in each packet next season. The Club Reps wanted to change the rule that teams are on separate sides. Kathie Diapoulis suggested that the issue be brought to the Membership at the rules meeting.
Robin thanked everyone for their cooperation during the season. She also reviewed the information regarding the mail outs to the Club Reps. She noted that due to the new forms that the Club Reps need to note on the Application to Play Form the Primary Contacts for each team. Reminded the Reps about the deadlines. Announced when the Registrar meetings will be held for Virginia and Maryland. Reviewed the standings and why the teams were not in order. Demosphere was computing the tie breakers as goal differential and not goals against. That has since been adjusted and now all of the standings on the web page are correct.
