Important League Reminders
Spring 2010
There will be no game cancellations except in instances in conflict with MD/VA State Cup Competition, President’s Cup, High School Soccer Game, ODP Game (resulting in a roster below 11 players in the U-12 age group and fewer than 13 in the U-13 through U-19 age groups) and inclement weather.

1. Complete League Wide Rainouts (LWRO) (Sundays Only) will be rescheduled, by the League President, for the following dates: Saturday, June 5th, Saturday, June 12th, and Sunday, June 13th. These dates may also be used for rescheduled matches if the President does not declare a LWRO. This does not affect U-18/U-19 teams during the spring season. The U-18/U-19 age group games will be placed on the next available date for both teams.

A. The above dates are for rescheduled matches for field closures and other conflicts as listed above
B. Notice of reschedule, from a League Wide rainout, will be sent on the Wednesday following the resulting cancellation.
3. All other cancellations will be rescheduled by the League President.
A. These include partial rainouts, and any cancellations due to State Cup Competition, President’s Cup, ODP Games HS Soccer Game conflicts and tournament approval. In the case of State Cup, ODP Games and HS Soccer and President’s Cup, the affected home team must immediately notify the League President first and then, his/her Club Rep.
B. The WAGS President or designee will then reschedule the game at the next available date. Notification of the reschedule date(s) will be e-mailed to all applicable Primary Contacts and Club Reps.
All originally scheduled games must be played by June 6th. All rescheduled games must be played by June 13th.
Note:
U-9 through U-10
If, due to inclement weather, the game is stopped by the refereeprior to half time, the game must be replayed in its entirety. If the second half of the game has begun, the score will stand and the game will be considered completed.
U-11 through U-19
If, due to inclement weather, the game is stopped by the referee, the game must be replayed in its entirety regardless of the time stoppage.
4. SAT/ACT/PSAT Testing
On SAT testing, the games will begin at 3:00pm or after for U-16 through U-19 teams.
On ACT testing, the games will begin at 3:00pm for U-17 through U-19 teams.
On PSAT testing dates, games will begin at 2:00pm or after for U-15 and U-16 age group
5. Seven (7) and Nine (9) team divisions:
In divisions of 7 or 9 teams (where applicable), one team may play 10 games and all other teams in that division will play 9
games. The computer will randomly determine the team and game that will not count for the team with 10 matches.
6. Score Reporting – Coaches/Managers
It is the responsibility of the HOME TEAM to report the score of his/her game TO HIS/HER DIVISION COORDINATOR within two (2) hours after completion of games but not later than 7:00 p.m. that same day.
7. Score Reporting - Division Coordinators
It is your responsibility to call your division’s scores in to your designated Scorekeeper as soon as they are received.
Accurate standings, the basis for division structure, are dependent upon the timely and efficient manner in which scores are recorded. If you do not do your job, you are only hurting your team and those in your division.

Recommendation for Fouls and Misconduct
In the U-09 and U-10 age groups, no caution or send off shall be issued to players. If a child is being too rambunctious, then the game official will ask the coach to make a substitution of that player to give the child a chance to calm down before returning to play.
